The Children’s Hospital in St. Petersburg is committed to making a difference in the lives of children, youth and families. We feel so strongly about this commitment that we have made it our mission statement.

As was the case when the Children’s Hospital in St. Petersburg first opened more than three decades ago, children and youth continue to require dedicated and specialized pediatric health services. The Children’s Hospital in St. Petersburg has established an excellent team of highly qualified personnel, first-class treatment, as well as world-renowned research activities to meet the needs of our young patients. The hospital believes in a family-centred approach to caring for children and youth, and strives to cultivate an environment of compassion and hope for our patients and their families. This dedication is especially apparent in the devotion of our staff towards the children and youth who walks through our doors.

Equally dedicated to research, we continue to evolve with the changing times. The Children’s Hospital in St. Petersburg is proud to lead with new advances in care and the development of a comprehensive health system for children and youth, with the ultimate goal of improving patient recovery. As a teaching hospital, the Children’s Hospital in St. Petersburg is affiliated with the Faculty of Medicine at the University of St. Petersburg. It also has partners in eight other hospitals in the north-west region of Russia, in order to provide specialized services, exchange knowledge and share expertise.

The medical staff at the hospital includes a range of specialists who ensure comprehensive care for children and youth. Our multi-disciplinary approach to caring for patients ensures that all aspects of this care are coordinated and thorough. Our highly dedicated staff, the commitment of volunteers and the generosity and support of the community continue to be our strongest assets.
