At The Women’s Clinic, we offer a range of services including medical and surgical abortions, IUD insertion, endometrial biopsies and medical and surgical completion of miscarriages (spontaneous abortions).
We understand that the decision to end a pregnancy can be difficult. Our highly experienced doctors and counsellors can provide you with the best care possible: confidential, supportive and non-judgmental in a physician’s office atmosphere.
We provide care for women who have decided not to continue with their pregnancies, and who want a choice between medication and surgery.
We provide the following services for our clinic patients:
- Surgical abortion up to the end of 16 weeks pregnancy
- Routine ultrasound evaluation to determine stage of pregnancy (Patients who are 12 weeks or greater in their pregnancy at the time of their abortion will require an ultrasound at an outside facility BEFORE coming to the clinic)
- Decision-making counselling and community referrals
- Individual counselling and support
- Birth control counselling and prescriptions
- RH Factor typing
- Sexually transmitted infection (STI) screening
- Follow-up examination and care
- Post-abortion counselling
